About Us

Melissa Riccio, owner

I began sewing as a kid with my grandmother, a seamstress with a shop in her backyard.  My mom was also an avid sewer making lots of bedding, pillows and decor.  I have always been creative and love the hum of the sewing machine.  Each of my kids have their own quilt I made them when they were born.  I have always loved making baby quilts and the joy it brings when friends have received them as gifts.  I look forward to you enjoying one of my creations for years to  come.

My mom teaching me to sew at age 3.

My 11yo made 4 quilts to donate.

My 9 year old learning to sew.

As a Woman Owned business, I am committed to pay it forward to the women and children in our community by donating to a woman/child forward organization.

All excess cotton fabric is repurposed or recycled.

November 2024 - A beautiful table runner was donated to the SPCA for their annual gala as an auction item. It was puppy inspired for the holidays.  Congratulations to the top bidder!

December 2023 - 8 quilts were directly donated to the local non-profit, Neighbors Helping Neighbors - San Mateo County.  These quilts will go directly to infant/newbors in our community.  Thank you for your incredible support.  It was such a pleasure meeting so many of you at the Holiday Markets this year.

July 2022 - 5 quilts donated to Samaritan House.  Thank you everyone for your support.  There are 5 babies in San Mateo country that will be able to enjoy a new, handmade quilt.
